ABC Ride 2013

The Absolutely Beautiful Country Ride has been introducing riders to the wonders of safe biking in our neck of the woods for more than 50 years. This year's ABC Ride starts at Copley High School on July 10, 2016. The ride showcases the rolling hills and quaint villages of Summit, Medina and Wayne counties.

OF course, for many this ride is an introduction. We also have designed safe and fun routes for 10 or 15 miles for those new to biking or for those who want to enjoy their morning and get on with their day. these rides starts at the Lion's Pavilion at Cy Hewitt Park in nearby Seville.

The Absolutely Beautiful Country Ride provides scenic and challenging routes for families as well as experienced bicyclists. Registrants can choose 10, 15, 25, 50, 65 or 100 mile routes and expect ample rest stops, lunch for the 50 mile and higher routes and excellent SAG support along the routes.

All Copley riders are encouraged to stop at the Copley high school after the ride to enjoy the catered lunch and live music.   Also check out the merchandise, talk with ABC members about the weekly club rides, consider joining Akron Bicycle Club and maybe have a massage for a small fee.

"The ABC Ride lives up to its reputation. Great routes. Lots of food and support. Truly a fun ride."
