Botzum Trailhead is on Riverview Road south of Bath Road and north of Smith Road. This is at the southern end of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
We ride the roads on road bikes but sometimes the Towpath using mountain or cross bikes. We also encourage hiking.
Our 19 mi. road route (in the Cuyahoga Valley) is moderately challenging with many possible shortcuts for more casual riders. The roads are in good condition, and usually there is little traffic. We regroup often, so you may ride at your own pace. No one is left behind! Please see ride details and print out your own map and cue sheet.
By law (and most importantly, for your safety), you MUST HAVE A HEADLIGHT, REAR REFLECTOR and TAIL LIGHT! Also, HELMETS ARE REQUIRED on all Akron Bicycle Club rides!
Afterwards we head to the Winking Lizard in Peninsula for dinner, refreshments, and discussion.
