Ride to the West Side Market. Starting location is different depending on the mileage option you wish to ride:

55 miles starts at the 303 Bike and Hike Trailhead at 8:15am.

33 miles starts at the Alexandar Road Trailhead in the Bedford Reservation at 9:00am.

25 miles starts at Canal Visitor Center on Canal Road in Independence at 9:15am. This route is mostly on the bike path.
You need to bring a lock for your bike or arrange to lock with someone else.
This ride uses the hike and bike trail and the paved towpath to Harvard then a short ride through the Tremont area where roads are wide and have plenty of room for bikes. We usually spend 1½ hours at the market before returning home but you are welcome to leave earlier or later on your own.
