For the Saturday Social Ride, May 5th, we’ll be riding to downtown Kent. The route will be a combination of public roads and the Bike-n-Hike with flat to rolling hills. We’ll be leaving the Rt. 303 Bike-n-Hike parking lot at 9:00 am. The total distance should be about 32 miles with an optional 25 mile route. This is a social ride at a comfortable pace with an average pace of 13 mph. We’ll regroup as needed. Like all ABC rides, this ride is for current members and first time guest.
As always, helmets are required on all ABC rides. Also, no ears buds, and no use of cell phones for talk, text, or music while riding. It is also advised during daylight hours to use a good tail light and headlight when riding on public roads. Please obey all traffic laws…safety is everyone’s responsibility.
