Rides - Event View

For a Saturday Social Ride, Oct. 19th, we’ll be riding to Canal Fulton. The route will be on the tow path. We’ll be leaving from the Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Akron at 9:30 am. The total distance should be about 38 miles. Most of the tow path is a crushed lime stone…road bikes are not recommended, but some riders do use road bikes. This is a social ride at a comfortable pace with an average pace of 13 mph. We’ll regroup as needed. Like all ABC rides, this ride is for current members and first-time guest.

As always, helmets are required on all ABC rides. Also, no ears buds, and no use of cell phones for talk, text, or music while riding. It is also advised during daylight hours to use a good tail light and headlight when riding on public roads. Please obey all traffic laws…safety is everyone’s responsibility.
