Rides - Event View

Everyone,

For the Monday Night Ride, August 18th, we will be riding a loop through Monroe Falls, Kent, back to Brust Park. The route will be a combination of public roads and the Bike-n-Hike with flat to rolling hills. This will be a loop route with a total distance of 16 miles. We will be leaving the Burst Park parking lot at 6:30 pm and riding at a pace of 12 to 14 mph and regroup as needed. Like all ABC rides, this ride is for current members and first-time guests.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before starting time to allow for adequate check in time. As always, helmets are required on all ABC rides. Also, no ear buds and no use of cell phones for talking, text, or music while riding. It is also advised during daylight hours to use good taillight and headlight when riding on public roads. These promote safety and alert drivers to our presence during all hours of the day. Please obey all traffic laws…safety is everyone’s responsibility. Also, make sure that your bike is properly maintained and is in good working condition. Each rider is expected to bring extra tubes, a pump, multi-tool, etc. for any mechanicals you may encounter.
