Rides - Event View

We have strong interest in a ride this Saturday!

Last Saturday we moved our ride to Sunday due to the threat of rain.  And of course, it didn't rain!  We had 9 riders come out on Sunday though - 7 rode the 57 mile route (and a few more to get 62) and 2 took on the 43 mile route.

This week's route will be up the scenic Valley View Parkway to Rocky River Park on Lake Erie.  And we return back down the parkway.  The route is 51.1 miles and 1,485 ft of climbing:

We will start in Memorial Park on State Road in North Royalton at 830AM.  Much of the route is shaded, but temperatures will rise quickly.   Bring ample hydration.  

There is one official hydration/fuel stop planned near Rocky River Park (around mile 25).  Add’l stops are available if needed.

There are many changes to our approach to our club rides due to the pandemic.  Please read the attached MSWord document and be prepared to abide by and support these new rules.  The health and safety of our riders is our primary objective.

A few callouts:

• We will not be passing out or sharing materials during the ride.  This includes cue sheets.  Please bring to the ride some means of following the route, either your bike computer or a printout of the cue sheet.
• And we will not be stopping as a group at any time for an organized, sit down food stop.  This is another CoViD thing.  To be safe, bring any hydration / nutrition you anticipate needing.  If needed, we can stop at a convenience store or gas station to get additional supplies.
